Frame Dimensions has been in the retail picture framing business at the original Vernon location since 1971. We expanded to add our West Hartford gallery in 1988. In July of 2006 we moved our Vernon location and production facilities to Main Street Manchester. Our team of 12 professionals at both Frame Dimensions locations work together toward the common goal of providing our customers with "Best Of Class" creative, high quality custom framing, art and frame restoration and fine art services. Many talented local and international artists are represented in our West Hartford gallery. The gallery also features a tremendous display of unique ready made photo frames and both locations have a spectacular custom framing design center.
Our Mission We strive to be Central Connecticut’s leading resource for extraordinary custom picture framing, expert restoration and fine art products and services. We will always provide maximum value for our customers and growth opportunities for our team members.
Frame Dimensions is a Hartford based, locally owned and operated by Joseph and Susan Lipiner. Tim Hall is Vice President of Restoration Services and Richard McCain is General Manager of Operations. Joseph Lipiner purchased the original Vernon, CT business in 1984 (originally Frame Factory est. 1971) and soon expanded to a second West Hartford Center gallery in 1989. The original Vernon location included an extensive custom picture framing design center, an expert art and frame restoration department and our state-of-the-art custom framing operations center. The West Hartford Center gallery on Farmington Avenue houses an extraordinary collection of prints and original art. Many talented local and international artists are represented. The gallery also features a tremendous display of unique ready-made photo frames and a spectacular framing design center. In May of 2006 Frame Dimensions purchased the operations of Exposure LTD Art and Frame of Manchester. With the goal of best serving every one of our customers, we moved our Vernon sales and production facilities to the then Exposure LTD location. We redesigned the sales and production areas to maintain Frame Dimensions state-of-the-art custom framing ability. Our goal has always been to provide Central Connecticut with the best value in premium quality custom picture framing, fine art and expert restorations. We accomplish this goal through our commitment to extraordinary customer service and workmanship. 34 years later we are proud to say that our many customers are thrilled and keep coming back. Some of the most prestigious CT based national corporations have chosen us to restore their art and frames and provide our extraordinary art and framing to enhance their walls.
